Growing tips
Conditions of germination:
- depth of sowing: 1 cm
- optimal temperatures of germination: 18 to 22 ºC
- time for germination: 7 to 14 days
When to sow:
- indoor sowing 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date in your area
OR - direct seeding when the soil can be worked, about 2 weeks before the last frost date
Sowing technique: broadcasting
- sprinkle the seeds on the soil and spread them as best as possible so that they do not overlap
Transplantation outside (for seedlings started inside):
- When all risk of frost is removed
Distance in the garden:
- between plants: 20 cm
- between rows: 30 cm
Height of the plants: 30-45 cm
Soil: all types of soil, well drained
Exposure: full sun, light shade
Flowering: from June to September
Specificities:
- grows well in pots
