Turnip – Golden ball
$3.99
Turnips with yellow skin and white flesh. An old variety introduced in 1859, the Golden Ball variety has a peppery taste. For a better preservation of the roots, cut the foliage which can be eaten raw or cooked, like spinach. For best flavor, harvest turnips when they are 7.5-10 cm wide or less.
