Bean – Roma II green
$3.99
The Roma II or Romano variety is appreciated for its large fruits with generous, tender and juicy flesh, about 12 to 15 cm long and without thread. Their distinct taste is stronger than the ordinary beans. Tolerant to some diseases, the bush plant produces its fruits about 3 weeks after the plant is well established. They can be canned and sterilized in an autoclave or frozen after being blanched (precooked in boiling water).
