Plant with green leaves with dark red-pink veins very decorative. Its leaves are lemony, fleshy and juicy. Sorrel is delicious raw in salads, or cooked in sauces or soups. It can be grown in micropods, to harvest the young leaves or the mature plant.

Growing tips
Conditions of germination:
- depth of sowing: 5 mm
- optimal temperature for germination: 13 to 18ºC
- time for germination: 5 to 12 days
When to sow:
- direct seeding when the soil can be worked in spring
Sowing technique: in pocket
Within the same hole, sow 3 to 5 seeds spaced 1 to 2 cm apart; when the seeds have germinated and the seedlings have reached a height of 5 cm, keep only the best plants and consume the removed ones.
Distance in the garden:
- between seeds: 1-5 cm (for young leaves)
- between plants: 30 cm (for mature leaves)
- between rows: 30 to 45 cm
Height of the plants: 30 cm
Soil: rich and well drained
Exposure: full sun or light shade
When to harvest (from direct sowing): 40 days for young leaves or 60 days for mature leaves
